Strasbourg's location in the Alsace region between French France and German Germany makes it a unique place. In Strasbourg, the functional Teutonic world collides with the rather more ephemeral Gallic romance in order to create a world that is almost fairytale. All along the Rhine Valley, you can see the kind of stunning chateaux and mysterious forests that you associate with the stories of the Brothers Grimm and Walt Disney.
