The capital of France, and one of the largest and wealthiest cities in the world, Paris offers visitors an almost indecent number of truly world class, and instantly recognisable attractions. Known alternately as the city of romance, and the city of light, Paris is both - its low-rise nature allows you to see more of the sky than you can in similar cities; and the romance is a self fulfilling prophecy, as so many people go to Paris expecting it, that they inevitable discover it.

Amongst Paris' legion attractions, you can choose from the iconic - the Eiffel Tower, and Les Invalides; the religious - Sacre Coeur, and Notre Dame; the artistic - The louver and the Pompidou centre, and the commercial - the shops along Champs Elysees, and Fauchon - the most upmarket deli in the world!

Of course, visitors are not limited to the attractions inside the city, and a short distance away from the hotels in the centre of Paris, you can visit two themeparks - Disneyland Paris, and Parc Asterix. Other attractions include the Palace of Versailles, a complex of buildings so large and opulent that it will take you days to fully explore!

You can visit Paris at pretty much any time you want, although it is wise to avoid arriving during the St Valentine's Day period. Aside from the toe curling cliché of champagne and roses in Paris on February 14th, the local hoteliers roughly quadruple their prices, and the locals all head for the hills!
